What position does Raytheon Anschütz have in the REACH process?

Raytheon Anschütz GmbH is an internationally operating manufacturer and trade company of navigation tools and systems. Main relevance for REACH exists for producers/importers of chemicals, substances and preparation if the amount of 1t/a will be exceeded. But with respect to the REACH definition Raytheon Anschütz is acting as downstream user, therefore as downstream user and trader of articles mainly the duty of information has to be fulfilled.

Main target for Raytheon Anschütz is to continue supply our customers. Therefore we need continuity in the total supply chain, which has been ensured by several actions taken. We have contacted a wide range of our supplier to make them notice to their REACH requirements. Furthermore, we have figured out, that we do not see the need for preregistration of any substance used within Raytheon Anschütz.

A list of 16 substances of very high concern (SvHC) has been published from the European Chemical Agency (ECHA). None of these substances show relevance to the overall Raytheon Anschütz product range.
