Raytheon Anschütz introduces new naval gyro compass

- Standard 22 NX M ready to set new benchmark for naval gyros -

Raytheon Anschütz, a business of Raytheon Technologies, introduces a new gyro compass for naval applications. Compared with others, the new Standard 22 NX M offers superior accuracy and integration possibilities for retrofit solutions and upcoming projects.

“Customers will benefit from higher reliability and the best cost-benefit ratio available for the whole life cycle of a naval gyro compass,” says Torsten Büttner, naval product manager at Raytheon Anschütz.

The Standard 22 NX M comes with IMO (International Maritime Organization) certification as a gyro compass, a gyro compass for high-speed vessels and a rate-of-turn sensor. Like its predecessors, Standard 22 M and Standard 20 M, it is also fully qualified as a naval gyro compass and, as such, complies with the highest shock requirements according to the German Naval Standard BV 0430.
