Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals

One of the requirements of REACH is that manufacturers and importers have a duty to register, for each legal entity, substances on their own, or in preparations that they produce or import in quantities over 1 tonne per year (per manufacturer/importer), unless the substance is exempt from registration.

Reduction of Hazardous Substances

These regulations limit the use of substances such as lead, chrome, cadmium and mercury in defined electronic devices. As a manufacturer of navigation systems, the products of Raytheon Anschütz are not affected by the regulation. Nevertheless, most of the own and third party products sold by Raytheon Anschütz already comply with this regulation.

Occupational Safety Policy

In addition to Environmental Protection policies, Raytheon Anschütz regards occupational health and safety as a primary corporate and social objective. Our aims are to prevent, by all the means at our disposal, accidents at work, work-related illnesses and work-related health hazards, and to provide effective first-aid care. Our efforts to maintain health of all our employees are certified according to OHSAS 18001:2007.
