Environmental Protection

Certified according to ISO 14001-2004
Raytheon Anschütz maintains an environmental management system, which is certified according the international standards of ISO 14001-2004. Our processes and products are continuously optimized to achieve a sustainable reduction of energy use and emissions in daily working life. A defined task list monitors all processes with regard to a more efficient handling with water, electricity and waste.
New developed products with innovative functions – such as the NautoPilot 5000 with its ECO-Mode or a Voyage Efficiency Monitor on Conning - contribute to reduced fuel consumption and hence increase energy efficiency – helping shipping to go even greener.
Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals
REACH is the abbreviation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. One of the requirements of REACH is that manufacturers and importers have a duty to register, for each legal entity, substances on their own, or in preparations that they produce or import in quantities over 1 tonne per year (per manufacturer/importer), unless the substance is exempt from registration.
