In general, all necessary data for the core navigation system are provided by a complete suite of high performance and reliable sensors (e.g. Sensitive Radar Tracker and Anschütz Gyro Compass). All sensor data are continuously monitored, quality rated and distributed automatically to all connected workstations to ensure consistent and common sensor information.
A Dual Navigation Ethernet Bus distributes all navigational data throughout the entire system. The system architecture allows for highest flexibility in individual bridge configurations as well as for highest flexibility with regard to future upgrades or extensions.
